"Rob Ward is a stand-up comedian from the inner city of Cleveland, Ohio. Throughout most of grade school, he was considered a class clown. He later began his comedy in early 2009 when a childhood friend asked him to perform at a local open mic. Rob instantly fell in love and was obsessed with making crowds laugh."

Funny Stop Comedy Club welcomes back comedian JOHN CAPARULO!

John Caparulo has been making audiences laugh for over 20 years.
Cap always knew he was destined to be a comedian. In 1999 he left Ohio
and moved to Los Angeles where he got a job working the door at The World Famous
Comedy Store. After nearly 4 years of struggling for stage time, cutting grass at a local
golf course and rethinking life choices, he started catching a few breaks.
Cap was invited to the 2003 Just-For-Laughs Festival in Montreal. Shortly
thereafter was featured on the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Next Generation”.

Over the next several years he would make multiple appearances on “The Tonight Show with
Jay Leno”. Cap found mainstream success when he appeared over 150 times as a panelist on Chelsea Handler’s popular E! show, “Chelsea Lately,” during its 7-year run.
Cap has two comedy specials: “John Caparulo: Meet Cap,” which premiered on
Comedy Central in 2008 and “John Caparulo: Come Inside Me,” which launched on
Netflix in 2013.

Cap currently releases “Caplets”, a brand-new set of comedy every 30 days. His comedy sets have been distributed on Hulu, JohnCaparulo.com, and YouTube. Cap now tours the country performing at theaters and comedy clubs. When not performing Cap lives in Las Vegas with his wife and daughter and a
houseful of pets.

Come see comedian Mary Santora this weekend!

Hailing from Cleveland, Mary Santora is a fresh breath of femininity in the otherwise male-dominated world of stand-up.

Mary's quick-witted, observational style has landed her the opportunity to not only travel across the country in various clubs but to open for comedic greats such as Jen Kirkman, Dave Attell, Kyle Kinane, and Tom Papa.

Santora took second place at the 2015 Cleveland Comedy Festival was named The Best Local Female Comedian by the Cleveland Scene Magazine both 2016 and 2017, was chosen to compete in 2018 Best of the Midwest competition at LaughFest in Grand Rapids, MI, and is continuing to quickly make a name for herself as one of the best up and coming comics in the Midwest.

While you may not know the face, you may know her voice from her weekday afternoon appearances on the Alan Cox Show on 100.7, WMMS.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in an Italian-Americanized family, this former Second City performer headlines across the country. From childhood to the enduring struggles of trying to adjust to adulthood, Ray’s material touches on all of his life experiences and insecurities. His humor is smart, likeable, and energetic. Besides touring the nation’s top comedy clubs, Ray is also one of the most requested comedians on college campuses.

Based in New York City, Ray is quickly making an impact on the Manhattan comedy scene. In 2005, he made his national television debut on the Lifetime Network, where his performance at Gotham Comedy Club aired on “How Clean is Your House?” That performance led to appearances on the E! Network and Entertainment Tonight. Comedian Scott Wyler returns to the Funny Stop Stage!

Scott Wyler is a Cleveland comic who’s been a longtime headliner on Princess Cruise Line. He’s also appeared on TV and took first place in a national comedy competition in Atlantic City. The Plain Dealer called him “The Mouth That Roars…Funny!” Channel 5 featured him on a show called “The Best of Cleveland.”  And Scene Magazine said, “He made me howl with laughter.”  Scott is known for his hilarious dry comedy and is the winner of the National Association of Comedy Club Owners stand-up comedy contest, finals held in Atlantic City. Hundreds of comics entered the competition.

Scott also appeared on the national TV shows “An Evening at the Improv” and “Comedy on the Road” in the U.S. and on the show “Comedy at Club 54” in Canada.
